Core Practice Benchmarks Expeditionary Learning has released a new version of its Core Practices and related Benchmarks, updated to capture improvements in the work of EL and its partner schools. The practices and benchmarks build on a strong base of innovative teaching and learning in EL network schools, as well as on national and local educational research. They describe Expeditionary Learning in practice: what teachers, students, school leaders, families, and other partners do in fully implemented Expeditionary Learning schools. The new book replaces the 1999 publication, Are We There Yet?. Core Practice Benchmarks is currently available for immediate download in PDF format.

Cover of Core Practice Benchmarks
Aprendizaje Expedicionario: Lecturas Esenciales (2000) is Expeditionary Learning's first Spanish-language publication. It includes the translations of the Expeditionary Learning Core Practice Benchmarks from Are We There Yet?, along with most of the text of Guide for Planning a Leaning Expedition. The final section features a glossary of Expeditionary Learning terms. The book was designed for Spanish-speaking educators. It could serve as a useful resource for schools that serve Spanish-speaking families.
